Our family spent Mario’s fall break exploring parts of the East Coast of the US; Mario was especially thrilled to be visiting the country he was born in. Our first stop was Philadelphia: we had a blast exploring the City of Brotherly Love. We stayed at a hotel on Penn’s Landing, a stretch of parks and restaurants along the Delaware River, which is walking distance to Philadelphia’s Old City - the neighborhood of Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross House. We also visited the Adventure Aquarium which is just minutes from downtown Philadelphia on the Camden Waterfront. Mario loved the blue lobster, sea horses, jelly fish and great hammerhead shark at the Aquarium. Our family had an amazing time in Philly and hope to visit again next time we are in the United States. In fact, Mario has already requested a return trip back to the country he was born in. Although, I have to admit that I think Mario’s favorite part of our American trip was seeing movies in the movie theater in English (we saw Goosebumps 2 & Smallfoot) and he also loved the toy aisle in Target (we went to Target more times than I can honestly count while we were in States).
While we were in Denmark (Billund) for Spring Break with Mario's best friend and his family, we visited LEGO® House - a newly opened experience house. LEGO® House is filled with 25 million LEGO bricks, giving LEGO fans of all ages the ultimate LEGO experience; my husband and I loved it as much as Mario did because it is truly amazing! We all had an awe-inspiring experience in this world of creative experiences building DUPLO® Bricks under a Lego rainbow; creating our own unique LEGO® minifigures in Character Creator; building sea creatures in Fish Designer; building critters and flowers in Critter Creator & Flower Artist; programing robots in Robo Lab; planning cities in City Architect; building vehicles in Test Driver; and exploring the Masterpiece Gallery with mind boggling original works of art created from LEGO® by artists - a.k.a master builders.
I recently discovered the very cool and unisex kids brand LOUD Apparel and I knew I had to share it with you. I want to Loudly declare that I love LOUD Apparel! LOUD Apparel reflects both British creativity and minimalistic Italian design because the collections are designed and created between London and Italy, where quality and craftsmanship are top priority. LOUD Apparel is cutting-edge style combined with quality and comfort so both little ones and mom's love it. I really love unisex clothing and accessories, especially for little ones, so it is of little surprise that I love LOUD Apparel for Mario. If you haven't discovered LOUD Apparel yet now is the perfect time to explore their collection because they are having a 30% off sale with code HAPPY30 at check out. Enjoy & You're welcome.

Mini Rodin's new Pre-AW18 collection is called Space Odyssey and I LOVE it! This collection is made from 100% organic cotton and is fully GOT's certified, which I love, and the designs are quirky and fun as always. The prints include: a cute cat; personified-moons; spaceships; stars; and love hearts in a fun kid friendly color palette of primary colors. This collection is inspired by space, and as I have mentioned in a previous post, Mario is in the Astronomy Club at his school and is pretty much obsessed with everything outer space so this collection has all his favorites - now I just need to decide what to get him :-)
