True Artist’s SS25 Étude Collection – El Papel
El Papel Étude Collection
The second capsule of True Artist’s SS25 Étude Collection, El Papel, celebrates the creative freedom of paper—folded, torn, sketched on, and turned into something entirely new. Inspired by the shapes and movement of modernist abstraction, this drop is full of bold prints, playful color-blocking, and vibrant energy. It’s everyday clothing reimagined as a canvas for self-expression.
Paper as Possibility
The Paper Play collection highlights what I love about True Artist: how simple materials and ideas are elevated through imagination. With sketchbook-like graphics, crisp geometric lines, and a palette that mixes orange-reds, sky blues, and warm neutrals, the collection brings a joyful sense of experimentation to kidswear. Like paper, these pieces feel open—ready for the child who wears them to bring them to life.
Art You Can Wear
Some standout styles: a pair of color-blocked knitted shorts that look like they came straight from an artist’s studio; a boxy cotton tee with hand-drawn shapes that almost feel in motion; and a pastel summer dress that’s easy to throw on—full of magic, color, and carefree whimsy. The details are thoughtful but never fussy—everything is made for movement and play.
About True Artist
Founded in 2022, True Artist continues to blend unisex fashion with artistic vision and sustainable design. With organic cottons, locally sourced materials, and timeless silhouettes, the brand’s pieces are made to be loved, worn, and passed on. There’s an honesty to their design that feels modern and grounded—and a spirit that encourages kids to dress like the creative individuals they are.
Me & Mario LOVE True Artist
El Papel reminds us that creativity doesn’t have to be complicated. Mario and I love how playful this drop feels—there’s a real sense of freedom in it. True Artist keeps finding new ways to tell a story through clothing, and each season feels fresh without losing the brand’s heart. If Herbarium was quiet beauty, El Papel is joyful movement—and we’re here for it.
