Mario had a little cold and cough last week so we kept him home from pre-school on Thursday and Friday. Our family has been busy and focused on our upcoming move, so it was nice to slow down and cuddle with Mario on the couch for a few days. I cherish the fact that Mario is at the age where he stills wants to be held by his mama!
Since Mario was still a little fussy this weekend we took it easy taking stroller walks around our neighborhood and having brunch on both Saturday and Sunday - one thing we are definitely going to miss about San Francisco is the food! On Sunday, before watching the Puppy Bowl and the Super Bowl, we went to our favorite brunch spot in the city Central Kitchen. I have mentioned before how much Mario loves their Fried Chicken Benedict, and my husband and I were happy he had gotten his appetite back after not feeling well.
After devouring the Fried Chicken, Mario was a complete ham outside of the restaurant running and twirling his new favorite cat toy that we got for him to play with our cats (though he likes to swing it everywhere).
