Our family spent Mario’s fall break exploring parts of the East Coast of the US; Mario was especially thrilled to be visiting the country he was born in. Our first stop was Philadelphia: we had a blast exploring the City of Brotherly Love. We stayed at a hotel on Penn’s Landing, a stretch of parks and restaurants along the Delaware River, which is walking distance to Philadelphia’s Old City - the neighborhood of Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross House. We also visited the Adventure Aquarium which is just minutes from downtown Philadelphia on the Camden Waterfront. Mario loved the blue lobster, sea horses, jelly fish and great hammerhead shark at the Aquarium. Our family had an amazing time in Philly and hope to visit again next time we are in the United States. In fact, Mario has already requested a return trip back to the country he was born in. Although, I have to admit that I think Mario’s favorite part of our American trip was seeing movies in the movie theater in English (we saw Goosebumps 2 & Smallfoot) and he also loved the toy aisle in Target (we went to Target more times than I can honestly count while we were in States).
In addition to dressing up in a costume to go Trick-or-Treating on Halloween night, Mario likes to wear spooky Halloween clothes on Halloween day (actually he likes to wear spooky clothes all year long). A brand I love for Halloween inspired fashions is Indikidual. It's only a few weeks until Halloween is here and if your little ones like spooky clothes like Mario does you should check out Indikidual’s Halloween Edition collection "Creepin' it Real" with limited edition Spooky (organic) Bananas! Pepare to be scared!

Because I love Halloween (I really do love Halloween :-) this month I decided to share unique, fun, cool and beautiful Halloween costumes for little ones with you. Animalesque creates beautifully handcrafted animal headdresses that are rich with color, texture, and charm. Mario and I both love Animalesque and we have the Green Lion and Lioness headdresses that we wore when we went to see the Lion King in London. Animalesque headdresses are for the romantic, the spirited, the curious and the wild, and they capture the imagination of both children and adults. Animalesque inspires transformation, fun and adventure. I love Animalesque because their headdresses are playful yet elegant & whimsical yet sophisticated. Enjoy & Happy Halloween Month!
